How to add a custom domain with NameCheap?

Custom domain - a branded name that is assigned to websites to identify them. The custom domain is also known as the “URL” which appears on the browser, on top of the page, that represents the unique name of the website you are visiting.
If you don't own a domain yet, don't worry you can purchase it at Name Cheap:
1. Buy Domain
Generate ideas
To find the information regarding Domain Name availability with a list of similar domain names you may be interested in, use Beast Mode tool, it allows you to check options for a number of names and set various filters
Put the filters you need and click Generate. You can enter fully-qualified domain names (Top-Level Domains or TLDs like .com, .net, etc.) or select TLDs from the list.
Choose a domain name from the list and add it to your Shopping Cart.
Checkout
Click on the "+ Cart" icon to select the additional products you’d like, and click on the Checkout button to proceed further.
Here you can add the amount of years for specific products and/or change their billing cycle.
Note: You don't need any additional hosting, certificates, etc. It's all provided by Pineapple Builder.
Enter your Namecheap account username and password on the next page. If you do not have a Namecheap account, you will be able to create one on the same page.

2. Configure Domain under Pineapple Builder
1. Add Domain
Go to Pineapple Builder, click on Website Settings, choose Domain, enter your Custom Domain Url and click Add Domain.
You will then see status info about your current configuration with the new records you will need to add in the next step.
2. Add DNS Records
Add new records under Advanced DNS info at Name Cheap to connect your new domain:
Before starting, remove any conflicting

records that have the same Type and Name as your current DNS records.

3. Check Status
When done, navigate to Pineapple Builder to see updates, it will auto-refresh it. You will receive a successful update when your Configuration is Valid
Note: It might take from 2 minutes to a couple of hours to see updates. Please double-check your configuration in case its status is still Error.
