Add Intercom to Pineapple Builder
Step 1: Go to your "dashboard" and pick your website.
Navigate to your Dashboard and select the website to which you want to add integration.
Step 2: Click on "Integrations" and pick "Intercom" card
Step 3: Add your Intercom workspace ID
Find the workspace ID, also called app_id, for your own Intercom workspace. Paste that public installation identifier into Pineapple's Intercom key field and save.
This field is for the Intercom workspace ID, not a personal access token or API secret. Check that the Intercom workspace belongs to the business running this website.
Review the Messenger configuration in Intercom, including where it should appear and who should receive messages. This installs your business's Intercom Messenger; it does not migrate Pineapple's support articles or move existing conversations.
Check the Messenger on your public website
Open the published website and confirm the expected Messenger appears. Check its greeting, position and availability on desktop and phone. Use a clearly labelled test conversation with your own details when checking delivery.
If it is missing, check the workspace ID, saved website setting, Intercom installation and visibility rules, and browser extensions. Do not install a second Messenger script if the integration already loads it.
